Slick Rick’s Story
A lost cat, severely underweight and covered in oil, was posted on social media, catching the attention of Feral Cat Coalition (FCC). They quickly rescued him, calling him "Slick Rick." After several dish soap baths, FCC arranged for his transfer to Smittens Rescue, where he could find a new home. It didn't take long—Slick Rick was adopted into a loving family, leaving his challenging past behind.
Ethel’s Story
Ethel received a full mouth extraction and has been recovering ever since. Her swelling has gone down significantly and she as happy and loving as ever.
Ding Dong’s Story
A Good Samaritan was driving to work on Friday and had just gotten onto the freeway when she saw a black floof on the shoulder. She quickly pulled over, put her hazards on, and ran to grab this black kitten. He was shaking. She put him in her car and went home to give him a bath and helped him settle in.
Artemis’ Story
Her caretaker brought her to Feral Cat Coalition where they assessed her. FCC took some rads of her leg and they found that it was severely broken.
Itty Bitty Kitty Committee
The rescuer called this family the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee (IBKC)! Mom was a tortie point, 2 of her kittens are tuxedos, and she had an orange and black kitten. All of the kittens were in very poor condition - they were dirty, had varying degrees of goopy eyes, and had very leaky butts.
Horus’ Story
Horus was found in El Centro along with a few of his siblings extremely sick and with a terrible URI. His siblings by a were rescued first because the URI rendered them blind, but Horus was able to evade trapping because he had 1 remaining eye.
Tahoe’s Story
Tahoe was a sweet stray shop cat living in Fallbrook, who came round one day limping.
